“ I ordered the Rainbow trout and my husband ordered the steak. Both were delicious and the Heavenly biscuits were amazing. We had a beautiful view of the falls from our table. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. ”

Outstanding food, great fish options, and the table water is amazingly cold (I know that sounds crazy, but you get ice cold water, without the ice, and chilled glasses)! The patio, though, might be the real star. Spacious, charming, and full of atmosphere, right on the river! Quiet enough to catch up with friends or enjoying a quiet meal, it's a perfect spot to relax and soak it all in. And the staff? Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They hit that perfect balance of being attentive without hovering. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great food, great outdoor eating, and a little sunshine on the side. ”
“ Came here for my niece’s birthday dinner and it was a great time. Where we were seated had the perfect view of the falls. I love that the outdoor seating had heating in the colder months. While the entire meal was good the biscuits and the bacon were my absolute favorite. Also this was an even more memorable experience as my little one lost her tooth at dinner and the waiter noted in on the excitement with us. We’ll definitely be back again. ”
“ We had a yearly trip of girls weekend 21 years … a group of 9 of us who had called the restaurant and made a reservation over a month prior.. However, the hostess said then she was unable to accommodate nine people together and would have to divide us up, Regardless of a reservation or when we came in. Again We came to the restaurant early in the day to see if they could seat us …when our reservation was later to again …But and she was very rude and very unaccommodating. I worked as a hostess for 10 years in an upscale restaurant, I am aware and understand the protocol. It takes about an hour and a half for a table of four to finish a meal she put one table by the window, which was lovely. The other table was out on the patio said we could not get even in the same room. However, when I went back to take a picture of our table, I have pictures of tables who were empty around our friends and us at patio. A good hostess would know when tables are available. We will come back to the lovely town again next year. There are many wonderful places to eat. The food was excellent. Our server was very pleasant however, the hostess and the staff who worked under her were totally unaccommodating. This was very disappointing. in all of our years of traveling together with groups up to 23 and Calling ahead, this is the first time we’ve had a restaurant be so unaccommodating. So I guess the practice if you have a group more than 4-5 you may have a problem getting in.thank you … ”
“ 17 River Grille is such a nice restaurant to celebrate basically anything. Would be very nice for a date night. However we went there to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. First of all the restaurant is at such a nice, eye soothing location and the restaurant itself is nice and classy. Servers and other employees were very professional and nice to us. I requested the host to give us the best view table after arriving there and they arranged it within a few minutes. That was very nice of them. The place looked like it’s perfect for romantic dates, corporate dinners, family dinners and friends gatherings. The food came pretty fast, and it was big portion size. Price wise it was totally worth it. All the foods were fresh and straight outta kitchen. However I think the fish and chips could have been better. I didn’t taste anything at all while eating it. But the salmon and chicken were fine. Overall this restaurant is a solid 9.5 and i would definitely go back there for a date night. Recommended… ”
